Show more »"With the economic financial situation as it is, a lot of people are losing their homes. As selfish as it sounds, we have been on our local "housing association" list since 2005, and have waited patiently to get a home of our own.  At present myself, my partner and our two children are living with my elderly parents, and as you can imagine its crowded, in fact the house is bursting at the seams!

Do you plan to build / create more social housing / affordable housing within the Runcorn area within the near future, which may give us a chance of getting our dream home soon.  I just feel we will keep getting pushed to the back of the list and that people who have "lost" their home will get the houses that become available.  I know they probably need a home more desperately than we do i.e. they will not want to go into hostels etc.. But we are in a not very nice situation too.

We both work, my partner and I, we just cannot afford to get onto the property ladder, therefore social / affordable housing is our only option.

I hope you take the time to read this and respond in good faith.  Thank you Mr. Brown.
