Question
David Miliband
, The current G20 summit is an attempt to get the old capitalistic economic regeime to work again, inspite of its absolute failuer. Like the chinese tale of the emperor who died - but the perpetuation of the myth that he lived on prevailed, to satisfy the vested interests of the elite. In October 2008 our global economic model and system collapsed in a catastrophic failuer akin to to the collapse of the communist system held together by the existence of the USSR.
Though many of the law abiding citizens of the world appreciae the efforts that are being made to fend off a complete political melt-down and a decent into anarchic hell. Is it not morally bankrupt of our politicians to be putting profits and the unachievable goal of perpetual growth before humanity? Are not the people who will ultimately benifit the unscropulous wealthy who got us in this mess to start with?
